Terms & Conditions

Applies to both Custom Prints and Live Guest Illustration bookings.

 

🖼️ Section A: Custom Artwork (custom prints & custom hand-painted illustrations)

1. Services Offered

Personalised prints based on reference photos or sketches.

Custom A4 and A6 portraits, animal prints, and other bespoke artwork.

 

2. Booking & Payment

Full payment is required upfront via bank transfer to begin your custom artwork.

Once payment is received, your booking is confirmed and your piece will be scheduled for creation.

 

3. Delivery

When your illustrations are ready, they’ll be carefully packaged and shipped via Royal Mail (tracked).

Every parcel is insured and tracked throughout its journey to you.

Delivery typically occurs within one month of booking (or as otherwise agreed).

 

4. Returns & Refunds

  • If your item arrives damaged, please do not open the parcel. Contact me immediately so I can assist you.

  • You have 14 days from delivery to initiate a return. Postage costs are the client’s responsibility and must be tracked and insured.

  • If the sketch is flawed and can be rectified, I’ll do my best to fix it.

  • Since you’ve already seen and approved the sketches, only 50% of the price will be refunded upon return. The remaining 50% covers time and materials.

  • No returns are accepted more than 14 days after delivery.

Cancellations

  • If you request to cancel your order after booking, no refunds will be issued due to the custom nature of the artwork.

  • If I need to cancel your order for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any payments made.

 

5. Use of Artwork in Marketing

With your consent, I may share completed custom prints on social media, my website, or printed materials.

You can opt out at any time by letting me know in writing.

 

🎉 Section B: Live Guest Illustration (Weddings, Events & On-Site Art)

1. Services Offered

Live sketching of guests and moments during your event.

Guest portraits drawn on-site and handed directly to attendees.

Some sketches may be completed from photos after the event.Final sketches are delivered to the client within two months (or as otherwise agreed)

 

.2. Booking Fee & Payment

A £100 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. This is deducted from the total cost.

The fee must be paid within 7 days of reservation or the date will be released.

Full payment (excluding the booking fee) is due 30 days prior to the event, including any travel expenses.

Payments are made via bank transfer.

3. International Bookings

A £400 non-refundable booking fee is required for international events.

Travel and accommodation costs must be paid with the deposit.

These will be assessed before any reservations are made. Contact me for an estimate.

 

4. Travel Expenses & Accommodation

Travel within 10 miles of Carlisle is included.

Travel expenses are assessed prior to booking and must be paid 30 days before the event.

Accommodation is required for journeys exceeding 3.5 hours.

For international trips, both travel and accommodation must be covered with the deposit.

5. Cancellation Policy

By the Artist:

If I need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund of any payments made. I only cancel for serious reasons.

By the Client:

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation ≥45 days before the event: 70% refund (minus booking fee).

Cancellation <45 days: 50% refund (minus booking fee).

Cancellation <20 days: No refund.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Travel expenses may not be fully refundable if arrangements have already been made, but I’ll do my best to return as much as possible.

Refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment account.

 

6. Extended Time

Additional time can be requested at £100/hour.

Payment must be made via card before the event or in cash on the day.

 

7. Event Attendance & Portrait Creation

I’ll be present at your event at the agreed time and location for the duration outlined in the Service Agreement.

I’ll make every effort to arrive punctually, but delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated.

Portraits are created on a first-come, first-served basis, taking 6–12 minutes each depending on style.

I cannot guarantee a portrait for every guest if time is limited. Please discuss expectations with me in advance.

Reasonable short breaks will be taken during the session. Refreshments are always appreciated!

 

8. Likeness

Portraits are stylised and simplified. Likeness will be approximate.

Please review my previous work to ensure my style suits your needs.

No refunds are issued if guests or purchasers are dissatisfied with the artistic style.

 

9. Consent for Photography & Social Media

I may take photos or short videos of the illustration process and final pieces during your event.

I will never post identifiable images of guests without explicit verbal or written consent.

If you prefer not to have any images shared, please let me know before the event.

 

10. Use of Artwork in Marketing

With your consent, I may share live illustrations created at your event to showcase my work.

You can opt out at any time by letting me know in writing.

 

⚖️ General Terms (Applies to All Services)

1. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information, respond promptly to communications, and supply any required reference photos or event details by agreed deadlines.

Delays in providing materials may affect delivery timelines or event readiness.

 

2. Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event of a dispute, both parties agree to communicate in good faith to resolve the issue.

If necessary, mediation may be sought before pursuing legal action.

 

3. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

4. Service Agreement

By sending the deposit and confirming the booking, both parties agree to these Terms & Conditions.
