Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 11 August 2025.

We at Pretty Prints are working to make our site www.prettyprints.org accessible to people with disabilities.

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of this effort, we have:

Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

Set the language of the site

Set the content order of the site’s pages

Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

Added alternative text to images

Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

Reduced the use of motion on the site

Ensured all videos, audio, and downloadable files are accessible

The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on contents that do not belong to the organization, and instead belong to Instagram, TikTok and Etsy. The following pages are affected by this:

https://www.instagram.com/pretty.prints.s?igsh=b2lzOXNkanE1ZTNz&utm_source=qr (linked to Instagram)

https://www.tiktok.com/@prettyprints.s?_t=ZN-8yle57irCpK&_r=1 (linked to TikTok)

https://www.etsy.com/shop/PortraitsbyLeahStore (linked to Etsy)

We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages.

Pretty Prints is based in Carlisle, UK, and does not operate a public studio or storefront. Services are offered online and on-location at private events.

For live guest illustration bookings, I work with event venues to ensure accessibility for all guests.

This includes:

Ensuring my setup is wheelchair-accessible

Offering seated portrait options

Providing quiet zones or adjusted lighting for neurodiverse guests

Adapting drawing pace and style to suit individual needs

Communicating with event planners to accommodate mobility, sensory, or cognitive requirements

If you have specific accessibility needs for your event, I will do my best to accommodate them with advance notice.
